Professional background.
Besik Sisvadze is a Partner at Metric Law/Tax Advisory, which he joined in 2021, bringing extensive experience in judicial service, legal practice, and academic training. Prior to joining Metric, he served as a first-instance court judge at Tbilisi City Court from 2006 to 2016.
Before his current role, Besik Sisvadze was a Partner at Sisvadze, Sulakadze and Neparidze LLC (2017–2021), where he further developed his legal expertise. His professional journey also includes serving as an Arbitrator at Legist LLC and as an Attorney at Georgia Lawyers for Justice. Earlier in his career, he worked as Assistant to the Secretary of the High Council of Justice of Georgia (2000–2002).
An active contributor to legal education, Besik Sisvadze has been a lecturer and trainer, teaching Civil Procedural Law at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (2013–2018) and at the Georgian Bar Association since 2016. He also served as Chairman of the Board of the Association — Unity of Judges of Georgia (2014–2015), demonstrating his leadership in the legal community.
Besik Sisvadze holds a Master of Law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (1992–1997) and completed the Tbilisi School of Political Studies (2010–2011 A member of the Georgian Bar Association since 2005, he specializes in civil procedure, litigation, corporate, real estate, and bankruptcy law.
