Tea Khamkhadze is a Partner at Metric Law/Tax, bringing over two decades of comprehensive legal experience across judicial service and private practice in Georgia. She has been with the firm since its founding in 2017, contributing her extensive expertise in civil litigation and dispute resolution.
Her distinguished judicial career spans a decade, during which she served as a first-instance court judge at the Tbilisi and Rustavi City Courts from 2006 to 2016. Prior to her judicial appointment, she gained valuable legal experience working as a judge’s assistant at the Tbilisi Court of Appeals and as a consultant at the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Tea Khamkhadze holds a law degree from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (1994–1999) and has demonstrated her professional competence by successfully passing the Judge Qualification Examination, Attorney Qualification Examination, and Judge’s Assistant Qualification Examination. Her commitment to continuous professional development is evident through her participation in specialized training programs, including initiatives with the United Nations Development Program, American Councils for International Education, JILEP, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the Council of Europe.
